The District Executive, employed jointly by the District and the UUA, serves all NH/VT congregations by:
- providing leadership training for congregational leaders;
- mediating congregational or ministerial issues and conflicts;
- working with congregations on matters of finance and growth;
- helping new congregations and strengthening existing ones;
- participating in ceremonies of ordination, installation, and building dedication.
When to call the District Executive:
- when a weighty decision needs advice or counsel;
- when the minister or the congregation is in conflict;
- when the minister announces he or she is leaving;
- when training or support is needed for lay leaders;
- when an idea arises to strengthen district services;
- when you want to deliver a complaint or praise;
- when you need an extra ear to listen;
- when whatever, because this list is not exhaustive.
