The District Executive, employed jointly by the District and the UUA, serves all NH/VT congregations by:

• providing leadership training for congregational leaders;
   
• mediating congregational or ministerial issues and conflicts;
   
• working with congregations on matters of finance and growth;
   
• helping new congregations and strengthening existing ones;
   
• participating in ceremonies of ordination, installation, and building dedication.

When to call the District Executive:

• when a weighty decision needs advice or counsel;
   
• when the minister or the congregation is in conflict;
   
• when the minister announces he or she is leaving;
   
• when training or support is needed for lay leaders;
   
• when an idea arises to strengthen district services;
   
• when you want to deliver a complaint or praise;
   
• when you need an extra ear to listen;
   
• when whatever, because this list is not exhaustive.
