Purpose Loans for up to 10 years @ 7% interest for purchasing, adding to or renovating buildings. Grants for growth
and for emergency
assistance related
to growth.
Grants to ministers or congregations for promoting Channing Unitarianism, including minister-at-large stipend or special programs and capital improvements related to improving service and growth. Grants for special projects that strengthen Unitarian
Universalist institutions community life, or support the work of social justice.
Grants and loans
for projects with
member societies
of the Convention.
Description Up to $25,000.
Application must
be approved by
Exec. Committee
of NH/VT District.
Projects selected by
Extension Comm.
Congregations receiving grants are generally expected to pay half the cost of the project.  Application must be approved by Proposal Review Comm. of the church. Grants awarded by
volunteer panels with
assistance from the
UUA staff. Maximum grant is $20,000
