Our VISION as the New Hampshire / Vermont District Lifespan Religious Education Department (NHVLRED) is to nurture faith development and to support lifespan religious education programming within our district.
Our MISSION as NHVLRED is to provide information, ideas, training, support, communication and advocacy for UU lifespan religious education by encouraging programs of high quality, continuity, safety, and sustainability within our district societies.

District Program Consultant
The Program Consultant, Benette Sherman, provides consultation to Religious Educators, Ministers, Youth Advisors, Young Adult Groups, Religious Education committees, congregations and boards.
R.E.Connections
This newsletter is sent quarterly in the congregational packet and is published on the district website. Content of the RE newsletter includes articles on lifespan faith development, youth news, family resources, new resources in RE Library, and an RE calendar of events. District Youth Committee (DYC) and District YRUU Conferences: support for youth programming.

Annual Religious Education Conference:
topical workshops for teachers, parents, DREs, ministers, youth advisors, lay leadership, and individuals including intergenerational worship, lifespan faith development, and fellowship, offered each spring.
Renaissance Modules:
Religious educators’ continuing education intensive workshops, offered biannually
District Conference Workshops:
one workshop offered at each District Conference in the fall and spring
DRE Support for curricula and program expansion, startup workshops for new minister and DRE teams, and exit interviews for departing religious educators.
